Company

Aurigma is a software development company engaged in delivering top of the class image processing components and solutions. Our R&D department is situated in Tomsk (Russia) – a city with several institutes of technology busy training world-class programmers.

Started in 2000 as a group of enthusiasts, Aurigma was registered as a company in 2002 after several successful products were developed and hit the market. This was the beginning of the still ongoing rapid growth. Now Aurigma offers a comprehensive line of products for developers focused on imaging.

Aurigma crew consists of professional programmers and managers with Fedor Skvortsov, the company CEO, at the corporate rudder. We believe that it’s best to know about a company from what that company members say.

“The majority of our client base are application developers, web developers and also web masters. Being developers ourselves, we focus on producing tools, SDKs, APIs and solutions that are comfortable for use for other devs. Also we strive to deliver all the necessary image processing functionality in every product, with additional features purchasable as options. Now we are starting two new product lines – for consumers and for photo retail businesses. We have gained vast experience in developing components for building other successful products – now we feel confident to put that experience to good use in proprietary turnkey solutions,” Fedor says.

“Being essentially client-oriented, Aurigma offers very detailed and concisely structured documentation for every product. Also, we have a knowledge base which addresses the development issues that our clients often face. Our online help system is regularly updated and detailed to provide even more information to the customers,” says Dmitry Sevostyanov, Aurigma CTO.

“Having a corporate blog is not only about being trendy and up-to-date. It turns out that many people want to share their opinion or ask for advice. Some just feel urge for creativity. An in-house blog is a perfect way to relax and to feel more like a family – one that unites both the crew and the customers,” adds Alex Makhov, Image Uploader Product Manager.

“Our experience builds on the successes of our customers. Feedback from clients is truly one of the most precious assets that a company may have. Our main asset, however, is an efficient and tightly-knit team, eager to meet challenges and bring more innovations into imaging componentry market,” says Andrew Simontsev, the Marketing Department Head.

“If you ask me, I would certainly tell you that I enjoy making contacts in person. Some say that direct sales are giving way to online stores. Surely, e-commerce helps streamline sales a great deal - but most demanding customers still prefer to make it personally,“ that's how Jumapili Ikusegan, Aurigma President of North American Operations, sees the sales process.

We hope that you feel the same way about being a good company as we do. If you just want to say something to us (whether it's business or not), you are always welcome: drop a message by e-mail or join the Aurigma blog.
