I'm testing out Image Uploader and have come across a problem. To access the site, my browser connects via a proxy. The applet launches in the browser ok and I can select files. When I press Send I get a connection error - an IOException in the java console (error code 0) and the following popup: "Image Uploader encountered some problem. If you see this message, contact Webmaster."
If I explicitly set the IP address of the website in the hosts file, then the upload proceeds ok. This implies to me that the Image Uploader applet isn't connecting via the proxy defined in the browser settings. Does this make sense and do you have a solution?
Many thanks,
Ben

Hello Ben, It is known problem with Java version (ActiveX one should work perfectly). It was fixed in upcoming Image Uploader 1.1 for Java. Please contact us at sales@aurigma.com for getting its evaluation version before official release.

Hi Fedor,
Thanks for that update. We'll stick with the 1.0 version for development and then upgrade to 1.1 when it becomes available.
