Hello everyone,

To remove evaluation version limitation (text box on the image), you should use Licensing object as described in the topic Removing the Limitations of Evaluation Version. However we had few reports that after following all the steps described in this topic, no key icon appears on the toolbox. If this happens to you, try this workaround:

  1. On the Components page, click Browse button.
  2. The dialog "Add ActiveX Control" dialog will appear. Change file filter from "ActiveX Controls (*.ocx)" to "All Files (*.*)"
  3. Select file GraphicsMill20.dll (it can be found in the folder you specified during installation) and click OK button.
  4. You will see that new checked item will be added to the listbox with controls - "Aurigma Graphics Mill 2.0". So just click OK and key icon will appear on the toolbox.

After that just follow the rest instructions from the "Removing the limitations..." article.

Please submit case if it won't help.

Sincerely yours,
Andrew Simontsev from Aurigma Team

I took me a long time to find out that if you type in the wrong registration key in the the license-property, it still displays 'Thank you...'. So, if you have any problems with registering, doublecheck the number you entered.

Great software by the way!

Thank you for input, Marvin. You are right - the sign of the successful license key usage is disappearance of trial text from BitmapViewer. Key property of Licensing is always 'Thank you...' if it is not empty.

In attempting to remove the restriction for the evaluation version, the key icon did not appear in the tools menu for VB6. The GM2.0 dll was not in the system32 folder.

1. Locate the file in the installation directory GraphicsMill20.dll
2. Copy it to the syste32 folder
3. Click run and type in c:\WINDOWS\system32\regsvr32.exe GraphicsMill20.dll if you are on XP. This will register the dll with windows.

Then follow Andrews directions:

a-On the Components page, click Browse button.

b-The dialog "Add ActiveX Control" dialog will appear. Change file filter from "ActiveX Controls (*.ocx)" to "All Files (*.*)"

c-Select file GraphicsMill20.dll (it can be found in the folder you specified during installation) and click OK button.

e-You will see that new checked item will be added to the listbox with controls - "Aurigma Graphics Mill 2.0". So just click OK and key icon will appear on the toolbox.

By default Graphics Mill DLLs are installed to:

Code:
C:\Program Files\Aurigma\Graphics Mill 2.0\Binaries\

So you can go to this folder with a file selection dialog instead of copying them to system32 folder...
