I have wasted days now trying to get this thing to work.

All tests cause the same error...

I am about to give up and find a working solution.

Hello, evildj.

Unfortunately we cannot reproduce this error. Could you describe how do you get this error message from the very beginning? And please answer the following questions:

1. Which OS do you use (XP, Vista, 2003 Server, ...?).
2. Which version of IIS do you use (5, 6, 7?).
3. Could you install PhotoEditor package to your machine and get trial licence keys during installation?
4. Did you install PhotoEditor Sample to your machine? Is it working?
5. You get this error using Visual Studio Web Development Server or using IIS?
6. Which page do you trying to load? (If this page is yours please send us the copy of it.)

And please tell us any other information which you think maybe important. Also a simple project which reproduces the problem will be highly appreciated - you can submit case with it.

Sincerely yours,
Sergey Peshekhonov.

I'm having the same problem. The photo editor was working just fine for months. Today I added new crop sizes to EffectList.xml and I got this error immediately after that. I revert back the EffectList.xml to the default file and I still got this error. I'm getting this while debugging through Visual Studio.

I don't understand why I got this error just by changing EffectList.xml and why I'm still getting this error after reverting back everything when everything was working for months. Error message should've tell us what resource file is missing.

Hello sjava,

Unfortunately I am unable to reproduce this problem. One post above I wrote about what additional information I need to try to reproduce it. Could you, please, send me the information requested in my previous post?

Sincerely yours,
Sergey Peshekhonov.
