ImageUploader in FireFox and Modal Populs

I'm using the ImageUploader and in firefox I seem to have intermittant loading problems, even when trying to use the iu.fullPageLoadListenerName. The ImageUploader seems to reinitialise itself every time it is hidden and then shown on the screen by display='none' to display='block' on the containing div.

Has anyone managed to get it successfully running in an ASP.NET Ajax UpdatePanel?
