Just installed a trial version and the OptimizedUpload PHP sample..

When I try to upload a JPG it says its uploading, progress bar and even the succes alert but when I search my server the uploaded image is nowhere to be found (updatedb, locate IMG_0000.JPG)..

The files in the gallery root are removed however (luckily its only the .cab, .jar and .js)

I disabled file deletion but still no JPG's found.. Whats going wrong?

Same problem in IE with ActiveX. Says its uploading with succes but no files on the server.

After further investigation I found out that it actually is uploading to the server tmp dir as defined by php.ini but it doesn't go further than that, the tmp file is deleted and thats it! Eh?

OK, a rights issue on the gallery dir? I checked that also, apache is allowed to write in it Brick wall

Never mind I solved it myself... (Took too long to await an answer Whistle

)

PHP-XML support wasn't installed causing the upload.php script to die early.

Would be handy to note that somewhere in the documentation / system requirements.
