We are using ImageUploader 4.7 for all customers to upload their photos.
Today we found that ImageUploader is not showing up on most of our machines in the office. It does show on few of them. It was working fine even a few days back. The error we receive is given below.
"Image Uploader ActiveX control is necessary to upload your files quickly and easily. You will be able to select multiple images in user-friendly interface instead of clumsy input fields with Browse button. Installation will take up to few minutes, please be patient. To install Image Uploader, please click on the Information Bar. After page reload click "Yes" when you see the control installation dialog."
Based on the error we tried re-installing InageUploader but it did not help.
We have been using ImageUploader for more than a year but we never faced this issue. We have Win XP, IE6, IE7, and IE8 on these machines.
There is no consistency to pinpoint out the problem to an OS or browser. The error comes on all browsers and OS but at the same time works fine on them on some machines. We did not yet receive any compaints from our customers. The problem seems to be on our own machines.
The only consistency we see is that all the affected machines have Auto Windows Update on. We really appreciate your help.

Hello, First of all please check whether you really have version 4.7 and this problem is not due recent Microsoft Killbit update: http://forums.aurigma.com/yaf_postst3202_PRB-Some-clients-are-unable-to-load-or-install-Image-Uploader-ActiveX.aspxIf it will not help please post here or submit support case with the URL of your page.
