anybody know how to unlock graphics mill? everything i've searched on these forums tells me how to unlock graphics mill for activeX instead. i have registered an received a key, but have no way to unlock the product.

i've tried adding graphicsmill20.interop.dll, creating an instance of the license object and assigning the key attribute, dropping an instance of the license object into design view... nothing appears to work.

any help would be great!

It's all in the help file actually...

You have to create a .lic file...

unfortunately i can't create a .lic file since i'm currently using the developer version of graphics mill 2.0.

also, my /bin currently contains the GraphicsMill20.Interop.dll instead of Aurigma.GraphicsMill.lic

as for the developer instructions in the helpfile...
when i've added the licensing component to my visual studio toolkit and drag it on to the webform, there is no attribute for "key". instead, the properties i get for the object are:
(id)
accesskey
align
border
class
classid
code
codebase
codetype
data
datafld
datasrc
dir
height
hspace
lang
language
name
progid
style
tabindes
title
vspace
width

and the actual tag comes out as
<OBJECT data="[hidden...]" classid="[hidden...]" VIEWASTEXT></OBJECT>

any other suggestions?

Hello,

It seems you use Graphics Mill for ActiveX. Please download Graphics Mill for .NET - native .NET components.

will the key i purchased for graphics mill activeX work for graphics mill .net?

i've tried adding the Aurigma.GraphicsMill.lic (with key) to /bin and also tried adding Licenses.licx to /bin neither seems to unlock.

License key for ActiveX version doesn't work for .NET one. If you purchased software after 1st July 2004 please contact with us at sales@aurigma.com for receiving free upgrade.

When I'm using the .lic file, it all seems to work.
But whenever I'm trying to use .licx file, it isn't working.

Where do I have to place the .licx file exactly?
