Hello,

I've encountered a problem with the ActiveX version of ImageUploader. When I view my page that contains the control on Windows XP SP2 w/ IE6 (default security settings), I get a security "bar" at the top of the browser window that says:

Quote:
To help protect your security, Internet Explorer stopped this site from installing an ActiveX control on your computer. Click here for options...

I click on the bar for options, and select "Install ActiveX control..." then I get a dialog that says:

Quote:
Windows has blocked this software because it can't verify the publisher.

Name: ImageUploader3.cab
Publisher: Unknown Publisher

But this is strange because isn't the ImageUploader control signed? Any idea why this is happening?

Help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Kevin

Another interesting thing is that the ActiveX demo from Aurigma's website works fine. I only get this problem trying to test our purchased version of ImageUploader that resides on our server.

Hello,

That’s very strange behavior. Try to set up our sample (which works from our demo site) to your server and check if the problem is still here.

Sincerely yours,
Alex Makhov.

Not in Aurigma any more. But still with my clients. Want to know the last news about Image Uploader? Visit my blog on Aurigma Blogs.

I was getting that error because I had the wrong path in the config file for the .jar and .cab files.

Also because when using Zend Framework it was redirecting the .jar and .cab files, once I added them to my ReWriteRule in my .htaccess file it worked great.
