About Upload Suite API

Upload Suite is a very versatile SDK. It consists of four uploaders based on Flash, Java, HTML5 and ActiveX, each of which has a rich JavaScript API, as well as an additional JavaScript library which lets you work with all uploaders as though they were a single unit. ASP.NET and PHP developers can also find a useful server-side component of this extremely handy SDK which highly simplifies handling server-side uploaded files.

All these elements allow you to implement any upload scenario you need. Even better, this extensive versatility does not mean that it is difficult to use. The API is very straightforward and does not require any specific knowledge other than common web development experience.

ActiveX with Java and Flash with HTML5 uploaders both have a very similar API and can be substituted depending on the browser (often the system will do this automatically). So Upload Suite comprises two large parts - ActiveX/Java SDK and Flash/HTML5 SDK.
