restrictions.maxFileSize Property ActiveX/Java Uploader JavaScript

Gets or sets a maximum file size allowed for upload to the server.

Syntax

Property Value

Type: Number

The maximum size (in bytes) for files allowed for upload. If the value is 0, then there is no limit.

Note

When you set the value that is more than 2 Gb, it is recommended to pass such value as a string.

Default value is 0.

Remarks

Note

ActiveX/Java Uploader Express restricts the maximum size of each user-selected file to 100 Mb. ActiveX/Java Uploader Professional restricts the maximum size of each user-selected file to 2 Gb. See the Upload Suite Editions topic for details.

This property limits only a single file. If you want to set limit for all selected files, use the maxTotalFileSize property.
