# files.get(Number) Method HTML5/Flash Uploader JavaScript

Returns the file at the specified index.

## Syntax
 
```
$au.imageUploaderFlash('uploaderID').files().get(index);
```
 
### Parameters
 
 - index
     - Type: **Number**
 
The zero-based index of the file to get. It also accepts the guid value returned by the [guid](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/FH_P_J_$au_file_guid.htm.md) method.
 
### Return Value
 
Type: [$au.file](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/FH_T_J_$au_file.htm.md)
 
The file at the specified index.
