# BaseControl.ManualRendering Property HTML5/Flash Uploader ASP.NET

Gets or sets a value indicating whether the control should be created but not rendered.

Type: [System..Boolean](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/a28wyd50)
 
If `true`, the control is created but not rendered. If so, you can render the control by calling the [imageUploaderFlash.writeHtml](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/FH_M_J_$au_imageUploaderFlash_writeHtml.htm.md) method. If `false`, the control is rendered right after creation.
 
Default value is **false**.
