# converter.thumbnailBgColor Property HTML5/Flash Uploader JavaScript

Gets or sets a background color of the thumbnail.

## Syntax
 
```
$au.imageUploaderFlash({
    converters : [
        {
            //...other params...
            thumbnailBgColor: 0xffffff,
            //...other params...
        }
    ]
})
```

$au.imageUploaderFlash('uploaderID').converters().set(index).thumbnailBgColor(value);
value = $au.imageUploaderFlash('uploaderID').converters().get(index).thumbnailBgColor();
```
 
### Property Value
 
Type: **Number**
 
A background color of the thumbnail. This color is used when the thumbnail should be created for an image with transparency.
 
Default value is **0xffffff**.

## Remarks
 
This property makes sense only if the [mode](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/FH_P_J_$au_converter_mode.htm.md) property has the **Thumbnail** value.
