# imageEditor.enableCrop Property HTML5/Flash Uploader JavaScript

Supported technologies:
 
Gets or sets a value indicating whether to allow cropping functionality in the image editor.

## Syntax
 
```
$au.imageUploaderFlash({
    imageEditor: {
        //...other params...
        enableCrop: true,
        //...other params...
    }
})
```
 
### Property Value
 
Type: **Boolean**
 
If `true`, the cropping tool is enabled in the image editor.
 
Default value is **true**.

## Remarks
 
If you want to set the cropping tool as a default one, use the [defaultTool](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/FH_P_J_$au_imageEditor_defaultTool.htm.md) property.
