# imageUploaderFlash.enableAddingFiles Property HTML5/Flash Uploader JavaScript

Gets or sets a value indicating whether the button which shows the **Open File** dialog is enabled.

## Syntax

$au.imageUploaderFlash({
    //...other params...
    enableAddingFiles: true,
    //...other params...
})
```

```
$au.imageUploaderFlash('uploaderID').enableAddingFiles(value);
value = $au.imageUploaderFlash('uploaderID').enableAddingFiles();
```
 
### Property Value
 
Type: **Boolean**
 
If `true`, a user can add files to the **Upload Pane**. Otherwise, files cannot be added.
 
Default value is **true**.
