# messages.fileSizeTooSmall Property HTML5/Flash Uploader JavaScript

Gets or sets a message which states that a user tries to select a file that is too small.

## Syntax
 
```
$au.imageUploaderFlash({
    messages: {
        //...other params...
        fileSizeTooSmall: "Size of '{0}' is too small to be added. Minimum allowed size is {1}.",
        //...other params...
    }
})
```

```
$au.imageUploaderFlash('uploaderID').messages().fileSizeTooSmall(value);
value = $au.imageUploaderFlash('uploaderID').messages().fileSizeTooSmall();

### Property Value
 
Type: **String**
 
The message which states that a user tries to select a file which is too small (i.e. the file size is smaller than [minFileSize](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/FH_P_J_$au_restrictions_minFileSize.htm.md) value). It can contain the following placeholder:
 
- *[name]*
    - replaced by the name of the file which cannot be added.

Default value is **"Size of '{0}' is too small to be added. Minimum allowed size is {1}."**.

## Remarks
 
This property is necessary for localization of HTML5/Flash Uploader.
