# uploadPane.removeSelectedFiles Method ActiveX/Java Uploader JavaScript

Removes selected items from the upload list.

## Syntax
 
```
$au.uploader('uploaderID').uploadPane().removeSelectedFiles();
```

## Remarks
 
**Note** 
The contrary method `addSelectedFiles` is not available due the security reasons. If this method is required, you should [create support case↗](http://www.aurigma.com/account/cases/add) and order the private-label version. In this case it is possible to discuss the inclusion of this feature.
