# BaseClientControl.UseCustomCodeBase Property ActiveX/Java Uploader ASP.NET

Gets or sets a value indicating whether custom URLs to client-side control specified with the [CustomCodeBase](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/JA_P_Aurigma_ImageUploader_BaseClientControl_CustomCodeBase.htm.md) and [CustomCodeBase64](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/JA_P_Aurigma_ImageUploader_ActiveXControl_CustomCodeBase64.htm.md) properties is used.

If `true`, [Uploader](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/JA_T_Aurigma_ImageUploader_Uploader.htm.md) loads a stand-alone version of the client-side control specified with the [CustomCodeBase](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/JA_P_Aurigma_ImageUploader_BaseClientControl_CustomCodeBase.htm.md) property. Otherwise, a built-it control is loaded.
 
Default value is **false**.
 
## Remarks
  
This property is used to embed private-label version of ActiveX/Java Uploader.
