# Messages.MaxFileCountExceeded Property ActiveX/Java Uploader ASP.NET

Gets or sets a message which states that a user tries to select too many files.

The message stating a file name that can not be selected due to the [MaxFileCount](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/JA_P_Aurigma_ImageUploader_Restrictions_MaxFileCount.htm.md) limitation. To disable this message, set it to an empty string. It can contain the following placeholder:
 
 - *[name]*
     - replaced by the name of the file which cannot be added.

Default value is **"The file '[name]' cannot be selected. Amount of files exceeds the limit."**.
 
## Remarks
  
This property is necessary for localization of ActiveX/Java Uploader.
