# converter.thumbnailBgColor Property ActiveX/Java Uploader JavaScript

Gets or sets a background color of the thumbnail.

## Syntax
 
```
$au.uploader({
    converters : [
        {
            //...other params...
            thumbnailBgColor: "#FFFFFF",
            //...other params...
        }
    ]
})
```

```
$au.uploader('uploaderID').converters().get(index).thumbnailBgColor(value);
value = $au.uploader('uploaderID').converters().get(index).thumbnailBgColor();
```
 
### Property Value
 
Type: **String**
 
A background color of the thumbnail. This color is used when the thumbnail should be created for an image with transparency.
 
The color string should be specified in a hex representation of the RGB triad in HTML-style syntax (#rrggbb).
 
Default value is **"#FFFFFF"**.

## Remarks
 
This property makes sense only if the [mode](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/JA_P_J_$au_converter_mode.htm.md) property has the `Thumbnail` value.
