Gets or sets a description of the user-selected file.

## Syntax
 
```
$au.uploader('uploaderID').files().get(index).description(value);
value = $au.uploader('uploaderID').files().get(index).description();
```

Type: **String**
 
The description of this file.
 
The length of this string can be limited by the [descriptionEditor.maxTextLength](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/JA_P_J_$au_descriptionEditor_maxTextLength.htm.md) property.

## Remarks
 
**Note** 
Even if descriptions are disabled ([enableDescriptionEditor](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/JA_P_J_$au_uploader_enableDescriptionEditor.htm.md) is `false`), you can change description of the file via this property.
