# messages.dimensionsTooLarge Property ActiveX/Java Uploader JavaScript

Gets or sets a message which states that the width or height of the selected image is too large.

## Syntax
 
```
$au.uploader({
    messages: {
        //...other params...
        dimensionsTooLarge: "The image '[name]' is too large to be selected.",
        //...other params...
    }
})
```
 
### Property Value
 
Type: **String**
 
The message which states that the width or height of the selected image is too large (i.e. exceeds the [maxImageWidth](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/JA_P_J_$au_restrictions_maxImageWidth.htm.md) or [maxImageHeight](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/JA_P_J_$au_restrictions_maxImageHeight.htm.md) property). To disable this message, set it to an empty string. It can contain the following placeholder:
 
- *[name]*
    - replaced by the name of the file which cannot be added.

Default value is **"The image '[name]' is too large to be selected."**.

## Remarks
 
This property is necessary for localization of ActiveX/Java Uploader.
