# messages.dimensionsTooSmall Property ActiveX/Java Uploader JavaScript

Gets or sets a message which states that the width or height of selected image is too small.

## Syntax
 
```
$au.uploader({
    messages: {
        //...other params...
        dimensionsTooSmall: "The image '[name]' is too small to be selected.",
        //...other params...
    }
})
```
 
### Property Value
 
Type: **String**
 
The message which states that the width or height of the selected image is too small (i.e. it is less than [minImageWidth](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/JA_P_J_$au_restrictions_minImageWidth.htm.md) or [minImageHeight](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/JA_P_J_$au_restrictions_minImageHeight.htm.md) property). To disable this message, set it to an empty string. It can contain the following placeholder:
 
- *[name]*
    - replaced by the name of the file which cannot be added.

Default value is **"The image '[name]' is too small to be selected."**.

## Remarks
 
This property is necessary for localization of ActiveX/Java Uploader.
