# messages.filesNotAdded Property ActiveX/Java Uploader JavaScript

Gets or sets the message displayed when a user tries to add files and some of them were not added because of restrictions.

## Syntax
 
```
$au.uploader({
    messages: {
        //...other params...
        filesNotAdded: "[count] files were not added due to restrictions.",
        //...other params...
    }
})
```
 
### Property Value
 
Type: **String**
 
The message which states that a user tries to add files and some of them were not added because of restrictions. It can contain the following placeholder:
 
- *[count]*
    - replaced by the number of files which were not added.

Default value is **"[count] files were not added due to restrictions."**.

## Remarks
 
This property is necessary for localization of ActiveX/Java Uploader.
