# statusPane.filesToUploadText Property ActiveX/Java Uploader JavaScript

Gets or sets a text on the status pane which is displayed when at least one file is added to the upload pane.

## Syntax
 
```
$au.uploader({
    statusPane: {
        //...other params...
        filesToUploadText: "Files selected to upload: [count]",
        //...other params...
    }
})
```
 
### Property Value
 
Type: **String**
 
The text stating how many files are added to the upload pane. It can contain the following placeholder:
 
- *[count]*
    - replaced by the number of files actually added to the upload pane.

Default value is **"Files selected to upload: [count]"**.

## Remarks
 
This property is necessary for localization of ActiveX/Java Uploader.
