Gets or sets a background color of this [thumbnail](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/JA_T_J_$au_thumbnail.htm.md) instance.

## Syntax
 
```
$au.thumbnail({
    //...other params...
    backgroundColor: "#ffffff",
    //...other params...
})
```
 
### Property Value
 
Type: **String**
 
The background color of the **thumbnail** control.
 
The color string should be specified in a hex representation of the RGB triad in HTML-style syntax (#rrggbb).
 
Default value is **"#ffffff"**.
