# uploader.enableUploadPane Property ActiveX/Java Uploader JavaScript

Gets or sets a value indicating whether the upload pane should be displayed.

## Syntax
 
```
$au.uploader({
    //...other params...
    enableUploadPane: true,
    //...other params...
})
```
 
### Property Value
 
Type: **Boolean**
 
If `true`, the upload pane is displayed in `ThreePanes` layout; otherwise, it is hidden.
 
Default value is **true**.

## Remarks
 
This property makes sense in `ThreePanes` layout only.
