# uploader.textColor Property ActiveX/Java Uploader JavaScript

Gets or sets a color of primary labels.

## Syntax
 
```
$au.uploader({
    //...other params...
    textColor: "#000000",
    //...other params...
})
```
 
### Property Value
 
Type: **String**
 
The color of ActiveX/Java Uploader labels except for:
 
- auxiliary labels (are customized with the [auxiliaryTextColor](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/JA_P_J_$au_uploader_auxiliaryTextColor.htm.md) property);
- header labels (are customized with the [headerTextColor](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/JA_P_J_$au_uploader_headerTextColor.htm.md) property);
- buttons,
- context menu.

The color string should be specified in a hex representation of the RGB triad in HTML-style syntax (#rrggbb).
 
Default value is **"#000000"**.
