Gets or sets a value indicating whether the thumbnail should contain EXIF metadata copied from the original file.

## Syntax

```
public function getThumbnailCopyExif() {
}
public function setThumbnailCopyExif($value) {
}
```

### Property Value

Type: **boolean**

If `true`, the EXIF information is copied from the original file. Otherwise, EXIF metadata will not be preserved.

Default value is **false**.

## Remarks

**Note**
ActiveX/Java Uploader Express does not preserve EXIF metadata while creating thumbnails. See the [Upload Suite Editions](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/upload-suite-editions.htm.md) topic for details.

This property makes sense only if the [Mode](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/JA_P_P_Converter_Mode.htm.md) property has the `Thumbnail` value.
