# FileSettings.MaxFileSize Property ActiveX/Java Uploader PHP

Gets or sets a maximum allowable size for file to be uploaded.

## Syntax
 
```
public function getMaxFileSize() {
}

public function setMaxFileSize($value) {
}
```
 
### Property Value
 
Type: **integer**
 
The maximum allowable size for file to be uploaded.
 
Default value is **5368709120**.
