# Uploader.EnableUploadProgress Property ActiveX/Java Uploader PHP

Gets or sets a value indicating whether the uploading files dialog is shown during the upload.

## Syntax
 
```
public function getEnableUploadProgress() {
}

public function setEnableUploadProgress($value) {
}
```
 
### Property Value
 
Type: **boolean**
 
If `true`, the uploading files dialog is displayed; otherwise, this dialog is hidden. However, there are alternative ways to indicate the upload progress:
 
- activate the instant upload mode (i.e. set the [UploadSettings.EnableInstantUpload](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/JA_P_P_UploadSettings_EnableInstantUpload.htm.md) is `true`),
- implement a custom upload progress indicator yourself by using the [Progress](https://www.aurigma.com/docs/us8/JA_E_Uploader_Progress.htm.md) event.

Default value is **true**.
