System Requirements

  • Visual Studio 2005/2008.
  • .NET Framework 2.0, 3.x.

Client Side

ActiveX Version

  • Windows XP/Vista/7 (including East Asian editions).
  • Internet Explorer 6 or later.
  • ActiveX controls and JavaScript should be enabled in the browser settings.

Java Version

  • Windows XP/Vista/7, MacOS 10.5 or later, and *NIX systems with Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 1.5 or later.
  • A browser which supports Java applets with JRE 1.5:
    • Internet Explorer (Windows).
    • Any Mozilla-family browser, including Firefox 2 or later, Camino, Netscape and others.
    • Safari (Mac).
    • Konqueror.
    • Opera 9.
    • Chrome.
  • LiveConnect availability (required for some advanced features such as an additional form name uploading, event handling, etc).
  • Java applets and JavaScript should be enabled in the browser settings.
Note

Some Mac browsers require Java Embedding Plugin to be JRE 1.5-compatible. See the FAQ: Installation Problems topic for more details.

These browsers do not require this plugin:

  • Safari
  • Firefox version 2.0 or later
  • Camino version 1.0 or later
  • Seamonkey

The following browsers are not supported:

  • Internet Explorer for Mac (no JRE 1.5 compatibility)
  • Opera of versions earlier than 9 (no LiveConnect availability)

Server Side

  • Any HTTP-compliant server platform, including (but not limited to):
    • ASP.NET (both Microsoft .NET Framework and Mono are supported)

Remarks

Aurigma Image Uploader Dual includes a special helper JavaScript that automatically detects the user's browser and load whether ActiveX or Java version. You can disable ActiveX or Java version if necessary.
